A Riddle Me Adventures canvas bag to fill with your goodies and cute and compact picnic mat (both yours to keep).

Your final destination is the picnic spot where they can spread out your new picnic mat and enjoy all the delicious goodies you’ve collected along the way.

You’ll need your own car and a fully charged smartphone to travel between each destination.

A cooler bag and ice brick to keep the cold things fresh and if you want to take some goodies home.

You'll need cutlery for these mystery picnics, recyclable cutlery just doesn't cut it.

Plates and a board to pop your delicious goodies on. Just to make it look nice.

Wine glasses or glasses are a good idea if you choose to purchase a bottle of wine/cider or other drinks from one of your destinations. Otherwise you are welcome to BYO your favourite drinks.

A bottle of water to keep you hydrated on your journey.

Pen and paper for some of your riddles/puzzles.

A jacket and sunscreen - Tassie weather can be unpredictable so make sure you have covered all bases.

For families, we recommend the Derwent Valley and Richmond Mystery Picnics.

If you have kids aged 8 - 12 years, these locations are simply perfect and the food will be appealing to most kids. Smaller children are naturally welcome however we recommend bringing some of their favourite food along. No booking necessary for the little ones!

Yes. Absolutely go for it! If you see something you like — buy it. All of our local providers are wonderful and friendly and can help you. You’ll be supporting small businesses by just going on one of our mystery picnics, if you have a wonderful time with any of your RMA stops, please feel free to show them extra love!

It’s up to you - but in most of Australia it is wise to check the local weather forecast before you leave on a day trip! (Bringing spare layers in the cooler months is always a wise option!)

Sunscreen is also a good idea in the warmer months as the Australian sun can be quite intense!

Our RMA tour stops are quite informal and friendly so please wear what is most comfortable to you.

Don’t worry, you’re not trapped! There’s an option to skip right to the answer for each clue (Definitely still try though — that’s what makes our tours so much fun).

Our maximum number on each tour is 4 people. You can however, book separately if you have a larger party (we will be offering group bookings soon too).

Our cancellation policy is that we need 48 hour’s notice.

The reason for this is that our providers will have ordered/started to prepare your food etc. Please let us know asap if you need to cancel.

We can give you the best day out, with great food and drinks … but the one thing we can’t do is change the weather so don’t let a little rain stop you!

It’s always nice to get out of the house/hotel room and explore these amazing regions.

The other option is go for a Riddle Me and Chill — go on your adventure, take your loot back home/your room, set up your picnic mat, crank the heater/fire, pop a movie on and enjoy some of this state’s beautiful food in your cozy home or hotel room.
